Sigh. Fresh socks right off the needles, and one Christmas present down!

I'm thinking about getting a new pair for my dad and I've been searching all over the web for shooting socks for men, but they just seem quite expensive in general. I might follow your route as I have some spare time and knit some myself. I think he'd really appreciate the effort, I'll have a think before I decide on anything.
